Evangelist Annette Groce

April 22, 1970 - August 07, 2017

In Loving Memory of Evangelist Annette Groce

Annette Moore Groce was born on April 22, 1970 to Gail Van Cleave-Rice and William Michael Moore.  Annette grew up here in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She attended Arsenal Technical High School.  While she attended Tech, she also studied Cosmetology and Barbering.   Annette also attended Kay’s Beauty School, where she received her Cosmetology License specializing in hair cutting.  Annette also worked at Roberts Barber Shop.

Annette Loved The Lord.  She encouraged, taught, preached and always prayed.  Sometimes she would just walk up to you and asked if she could pray for you, anointing you head with oil.  She believed there was power in prayer.  Annette was a prayer warrior.  Annette loved fishing, cutting and styling hair, applying makeup and putting on her clothes.  She said, “When you go somewhere, you should fall into the place.”  And she did!

Annette Moore Groce departed this life on August 7, 2017 at home, on her knees praying.

Annette Moore united in holy matrimony to Sergeant Rodney Reynard Groce on July 6, 1991.  To this union they were blessed with Marcel G. Burrell, Jr., Elijah I. Groce, Brandon Groce and Antreneciya Banks.

Annette leaves to cherish her memory a devoted husband Rodney R. Groce of 26 years, sons Marcel Burrell Jr., Elijah Groce, Brandon Groce, Antreneciya Banks (daughter), grandchildren Emery LeRose, Marcel III, and Travis Reid.

All she adored, Mother Gail Rice (Nathan), sisters Sheila Spivey, Angelia “Redd” Gaines, Rhonda Gaines, daughter like Sherrice Harris, best friends and aunt DeJuana Barrett, like a mother Beverly Owens.  A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
